Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any course offered by Halcyon Reach. By submitting an enrolment or enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

• "Company", "we", "us", "our" — Halcyon Reach, registered in Malaysia, operating from 12 Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar Baru, 59100 Kuala Lumpur.
• "Participant", "you" — any individual who enrols in or accesses a course offered by Halcyon Reach.
• "Course" — any educational programme offered by Halcyon Reach, including all associated materials, guides, workbooks, and consultations.
• "Materials" — written content, printable guides, workbooks, and any other resources provided as part of a course.
• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course or submitting an enquiry through our website, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
• You are providing accurate and complete information
• You agree to these Terms and Conditions in full

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not enrol in or access any course offered by Halcyon Reach.

3. Description of Courses

Halcyon Reach offers reflective financial education courses for Malaysian adults aged 40 and over. Our current courses are:

• The Honest Conversation About Money With Adult Children — a four-week self-directed course (RM 750)
• A Patient Approach to Charitable Giving — a six-session course (RM 1,420)
• Financial Wellbeing Through Major Life Transitions — a ten-module course with a closing one-hour consultation (RM 2,250)

Course content is provided for educational purposes only. Halcyon Reach is an education provider and not a licensed financial adviser. Nothing in our courses constitutes regulated financial advice under Malaysian law.

4. Enrolment and Course Access

Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. You will receive an email with access instructions within two working days of confirmed payment.

Access Period

Course materials remain accessible for twelve months from the date of enrolment, unless otherwise specified. After this period, access may be renewed upon request at the prevailing rate.

Personal Use

Enrolment grants a single-user, non-transferable licence to access and use the course materials for your personal educational purposes. Course access may not be shared with, transferred to, or used by any other person.

5. Payment Terms

Fees

All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment Methods

We accept payment via FPX, credit and debit card, and other methods displayed at checkout. Payment is processed by a third-party provider; your card details are not stored by Halcyon Reach.

Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within seven calendar days of enrolment, provided you have not accessed more than the first module or session. After this period, or once materials have been substantially accessed, refunds are not available. To request a refund, please write to [email protected] with your enrolment details.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including written content, frameworks, workbooks, printable guides, and course structure — are the intellectual property of Halcyon Reach and are protected by Malaysian copyright law.

Your enrolment grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own educational purposes. You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute course materials in any form
• Share login credentials or access links with others
• Use course materials for commercial purposes
• Remove any proprietary notices from materials

7. Participant Responsibilities

When using our website and course platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information at enrolment
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not attempt to access the accounts or materials of other participants
• Not use our platform in any way that is unlawful or that could damage our systems or reputation
• Not introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful material

8. Disclaimers

Halcyon Reach provides educational content intended to support your personal reflection and decision-making. We make no representations that:

• Completing a course will produce any particular financial outcome
• Course content constitutes legal, financial, tax, or professional advice
• The information provided will remain current following legislative or regulatory changes in Malaysia

You are encouraged to seek advice from a licensed professional for matters specific to your circumstances.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Halcyon Reach shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of our courses
• Financial decisions made in reliance on course content
• Loss or corruption of data
• Temporary unavailability of the course platform

Our total liability to you in connection with any course shall not exceed the fee paid for that course.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halcyon Reach, its directors, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of course materials.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to a course, without refund, if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have breached these Terms — including sharing access credentials or redistributing course content. You may withdraw from a course at any time; refund eligibility is governed by Section 5.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us in the first instance at [email protected] so that we may seek to resolve the matter informally. If informal resolution is not possible, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Halcyon Reach regarding your use of our courses.
• Severability — if any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
• No Waiver — our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
• Assignment — you may not assign your rights under this Agreement. We may assign our rights to a successor organisation without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Enrolled participants will be notified by email of material changes. Continued use of the course platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
