Questions

Things People Often Ask

Who are these courses designed for?
Each course is written with adults aged 40 and over in mind — people who have accumulated some financial experience and are now thinking about how that experience connects to family relationships, community, and the years ahead. No financial background is assumed or required.
Are these courses delivered online or in person?
All courses are delivered digitally, with lesson materials you access at your own pace. The Financial Wellbeing Through Major Life Transitions course includes a closing one-hour consultation, which can be arranged by telephone or video call.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
Once you have enrolled, your access to the course materials is ongoing. There is no deadline to complete the programme, and you are welcome to return to any lesson at any stage.
Is this considered regulated financial advice?
No. Halcyon Reach provides financial education — structured learning to help you think clearly about your own situation. We do not offer regulated investment advice, and we encourage participants to consult appropriately licensed professionals for decisions that require it.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfer, FPX online banking, and major debit or credit cards. Payment details are provided after enrolment is confirmed.
Can I take more than one course at a time?
You can, though most participants find it useful to work through one course before beginning another. Each programme is complete in itself, and the thinking it asks of you tends to settle better when it has space.
Is there a refund policy?
If you find within the first seven days that the course is not suitable for your needs, please write to us and we will consider a refund on a case-by-case basis. We want people to enrol because the course is a good fit, not because they felt pressured to commit.
